Golden Square Team Up With Partizan On Lily Allen Promo

Golden Square Post Production have just completed the post work on the latest music video from pop songstress, Lily Allen.
Her latest video for single ‘LDN’, taken from her album 'Alright Still', is set in London and depicts two sides of the city – a colourful, sunny and ultra real, fantasy land versus a gritty harsh landscape of drugs, beggars and violence. Many of the scenes were shot with motion control enabling the harsh reality to be revealed in the wake of Lily’s dancing steps.
As she dances through the cityscape typical London scenes are then drained of their colour and the 'real' London is revealed. A loving couple kissing on a doorstep is hastily transformed to reveal a prostitute and her pimp; two businessmen sitting in a beautiful park on a bench are then seen to be two down-and-outs set against a depressing and bleak backdrop. Throughout the video everyday street scenes are transformed with the passing of the colour-draining rainbow.
Tim Rudgard, Flame Artist at Golden Square, said: “This was the first music video that Golden Square have collaborated with Partizan director Nima Nourizadeh on and it has been great to be able to work on such a high profile project. Lily Allen is certainly riding high at the moment. Nima had a clear idea of what he wanted to achieve in the video and it was good to be able to provide the tools to bring his ideas to reality.”
