Quartz mark 15 years in the industry at NAB 2005

Quartz recently marked its 15th year in the broadcast industry at NAB 2005.
Established in 2000 by Alan Edwards and Simon Reed, Quartz has experienced continuous growth to become a major supplier of routers and master control equipment for broadcasters around the world.
Unusually Quartz has maintained the same name, ownership, and senior management structure. This continuity is viewed by Quartz as one of the reasons that customers have the confidence to invest in their products for core infrastructure components where long term stability and support are paramount.
Though originally a manufacturer of small routers, Quartz has steadily increased the size and scope of the router range to cover the full spectrum of specifications needed by broadcasters.
After an initial entry into the Master Control switcher market five years ago, Quartz have gone on to become extremely successful in this market segment. A success attributed to carefully assessing customer feedback and responding quickly to their requirements.
In June, Quartz plan to host a celebratory open day for customers, partners and press.
