Wales Screen Commission Office opened in south west Wales

South West Wales is set to be increasingly used as a backdrop to blockbusters, following the opening of a purpose-built film location service.
Launched recently by the Wales Screen Commission, the south west Wales regional office, based in Llandeilo, has already been inundated with production enquiries. Mike Wallwork, National Co-ordinator of the Wales Screen Commission, said: "We are delighted with the interest we have received since the launch. Having recently hosted the cast of the provocative thriller, 'I'll Sleep When I'm Dead', directed by the internationally renowned Mike Hodges and starring Gosford Park's Clive Owen and Clockwork Orange's Malcolm McDowell, we look forward to welcoming future productions of this kind."
