RUSHES ANNOUNCE FESTIVAL DATES

RUSHES Postproduction have announced this year¹s Soho Shorts festival will take place Saturday July 28 to Friday August 3 2001.
The quality of this year¹s entries, which numbered over 850, was extremely high, illustrating the wealth of talent in short films including newcomer, established short film makers, animation, pop promos, title sequences and idents.
The festival will follow the same format as last year with free screenings being held in cafes, bars and cinemas all over Soho, culminating in a celebrity packed awards night at Sound in Leicester Square, hosted by Terry Christian and sponsored by Sony Pro Media, where the winners will be announced. This year's venues include: the Atlantic Bar, Soho House, Curzon Soho, Alphabet Bar, The Freedom Brewery, De Lane Lea, Metro Cinema, Starbucks, Yo! Below, De Lane Lea, and Costa Coffee to name just a few.
A new addition this year, is the Delegates Centre at the Curzon Soho Cinema, which will be open between 10am and 6pm each day and where you will be able to find out the latest festival information and pick up a free delegate¹s pack. The Curzon will also be the venue for the Short Film Making Seminar, held in conjunction with the NPA and sponsored by Nothing Real/Tyrell.
