Rushes Soho Shorts Film Festival calls for entries

Considered one of the UK’s premier short film festivals and a highly anticipated landmark in the British cultural calendar, The Rushes Soho Shorts Film Festival is now seeking entries for the 2005 competition, which organisers believe the biggest and best yet.
All films entered must have been produced in the last 12 months (up to May 6 2005), have a maximum running time of up to 12 minutes and be eligible for one of the following categories: Short Film; Newcomer; Title Sequences and Idents; Animation; Music Video.

This year promises to be the strongest and most exciting celebration of the short film scene yet. Throughout the festival the diversity and, more importantly, the quality of all the shorts will be mouth-watering.
This year’s event opens on Saturday July 30 and free screenings of the short-listed films will take place at multiple screens and venues across Soho and the West End until Friday August 5.
Sony have already confirmed as this year’s Awards Party sponsor and Cobra Beer as the drinks sponsor.
