Global Television Add Two Further Chyron HyperX HD/SD Switchable Graphics Systems To Portfolio

Chyron Corporation has announced that Global Television has added a further two high performance HyperX HD/SD switchable graphics systems to it's Chyron portfolio.
The sale was carried out by Chyron’s Asian partner, Magna Systems & Engineering.

With a total of three HyperX systems, featuring up to two software-switchable HD/SD channels, Global Television has streamlined its production process by enabling graphics creation off-line on a PC for playout using the HyperXs. The two newest systems, which are based in the company’s Sydney and Melbourne studios, are being used to provide graphics for the highly successful Australian Idol, Rove and other outside broadcast programs.

Chyron’s Lyric content creation and playout software has allowed us to build pages for variety shows and sporting events way in advance," stated Terry Manley, Global Television’s Chief Engineer. "We are very happy with the HyperXs and happy with Chyron and the level of support from Magna Systems. Our next move is to go into HD production and broadcast and, with the HyperX, we are ready to roll."
