Granada International boosts programming team
As part of its commitment to drama production and distribution, Granada International has boosted its programming team by appointing Noel Hedges as Head of Drama, it was announced today by Emmanuelle Namiech, Controller of Programming.
Namiech commented: "We are delighted to continue to build our dedicated programming team, working closely with independent and in-house producers. Noel will bring his in-depth experience of television sales and acquisitions to the role. He has an extensive knowledge and passion for the international television and film industry."
Hedges was formerly VP Sales at Granada International in charge of sales to France and Scandinavia. Fluent in French and German, he has been part of the Granada International sales team since 2003 and prior to this was a Sales Executive at Carlton International. He was Business Affairs Executive at BBC Acquisitions and was Rights Officer at Granada Television in Manchester.
