Pixel Power expands international sales team

Pixel Power is to expand its international sales effort with the recruitment of Francois Cavalade as Regional Sales Manager.
With broad experience of the broadcast and high-tech industries, Cavalade takes responsibility for the broadcast graphics leader’s sales in France, southern Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Cavalade joins from a role as Senior Sales Manager, Southern Europe and North Africa, at Omneon Video Networks where he oversaw the opening of the company’s legal entity in Paris and helped generate a $4million revenue potential within two years. He also reorganised the distribution network and developed technical and application provider partnerships with automation, media asset management, news solutions and integration companies.
Prior to this, Francois held sales positions at Quantel, SintecMedia, Proconsultant Informatique and Getris Images, spanning a twelve-year career.
“Francois will be pivotal in building Pixel Power’s presence in regions where it already enjoys success with customers including CNBC Arabiya, TVI and Cognacq-Jay Image,” said Pixel Power Managing Director James Gilbert. “Particularly as we now see rapid uptake of HD technology, he helps position Pixel Power as the global leader in next-generation character generators.”
