HBO appoints Granada International to represent HBO Documentaries and Family Programming

Leading distributor Granada International has been appointed by HBO to represent the award-winning HBO Documentary and Family programming slates, it has been announced by Nadine Nohr, Managing Director.
The 200+ hours of HBO programming to be sold internationally by Granada International features contemporary factual titles created by some of the world's most celebrated producers and directors, including the hit Emmy Award winning series ‘Taxicab Confessions’; new episodes of the ‘Autopsy’ documentary series, the award winning ‘Death In Gaza’ and Academy Award winning ‘Chernobyl Heart’.
Family programming includes hit shows such as ‘Crashbox’; ‘Happily Ever After: Fairy Tales for Every Child’ and ‘Goodnight Moon and Other Sleepy Time Tales’.
Brand new HBO Documentary titles to be launched by Granada International at MIPCOM in October, include ‘A Father…A Son…Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’ providing a fascinating glimpse into the private lives of Kirk and Michael Douglas, and an extraordinary film, ‘I Have Tourette’s But Tourette’s Doesn’t Have Me’ which profiles six children who endure life with Tourette's syndrome.
Upcoming programming from HBO, which will be available in 2006, includes ‘Crix Nix Hix Pix: How to Bake A Blockbuster’, a film exploring 100 years of blockbusters in film, TV, radio and music. ‘Too Hot Not To Handle’ will address the inside scoop on global warming and, of course, HBO will premiere a new episode of the highly rated series, ‘Real Sex’.
On making the announcement Nadine Nohr said: "We are delighted to have been appointed exclusive Documentary and Family distributor to HBO, one of the best names in television production in the world. We look forward to launching their ground-breaking programming to international buyers and working with the HBO team."

Granada International has worldwide distribution rights for HBO documentary and family programming excluding North and South America and the UK that are retained by HBO International.
