PACE LAUNCHES NEW 'TV ENABLED’ WEBSITE

PACE Micro Technology, one of the leading providers of digital set-top boxes, have launched a new interactive website enabled for internet users on either PC or TV.
Creative Director, Sean Clark, of design company Headland, said: “Separating web content from its presentation will become increasingly vital as more and more internet viewing platforms become available. Rather than creating a new version of the web site for WAP browsers, palmtops and digital TV, for example, we simply use our system to create a new ‘presentation definition’ that matches the target platform and pulls all content from a common database. The database-driven approach also makes site maintenance easier and allows for more personalised delivery of information to the viewer.”
An important feature of the site is a regularly updated Pace newsroom. Visitors opting to personalise the Pace site can receive the latest Pace news headlines, delivered via email to any device of their choice, including personal digital devices.
Pace products can be viewed in a rotating 360-degree format in quick-to-download Flash ‘movies’.
Features of specific products are shown, as well as information on customer account management and service support.
