Pace to demonstrate digital set-top box solutions

Pace Micro Technology are to demonstrate an extensive range of advanced and entry-level digital satellite, terrestrial, cable and IPTV set-top box solutions for European free-to-air and payTV markets at Mediacast 2003.
In addition, Pace executives will lead debates on free-to-view DTT and broadband telecom opportunities in a series of thought-leadership lectures and panel sessions.
To demonstrate their European digital satellite expertise, Pace will showcase the Puma set-top box and Sky digital product range. Puma, the world's first integrated dual decoder and twin tuner satellite box with optional hard disk drive technology enables households to watch two separate digital programmes on separate TVs and record one live programme to VCR whilst watching another.
Adding an integrated hard disk drive enables TV content to be recorded without video-tapes and personal video recording (PVR) services such as live pause, rewind, fast forward and time-shift features.
