GEARBOX TO OPEN IN SOHO

LONDON-BASED equipment sales, hire and support organisation GearBox Sound & Vision have expanded their operation by opening new offices within the De Lane Lea studio complex in the heart of Soho.
The development is designed to further enhance the service GearBox provides to many of the post production facilities within central London.
GearBox have already brought a number of significant innovations to professional audio and video supply, including round-the-clock support for both sales and hire customers.
Earlier this year, GearBox opened The Mezzanine demonstration studios at their west London headquarters and announced that their hire inventory had grown to more than £3 million in value. They are believed to have the largest stock of Avid and Pro Tools systems for hire anywhere in Europe.
Managing Director of Gearbox, Richard Eastwood, said: "The Soho post production community is like a village. In that respect, you're either 'in Soho' or you're not. We have many valued customers in this area, so we want to give them the added reassurance of knowing that we are literally a couple of minutes away."
While 'GearBox West' will continue to provide rapid support to the Shepperton, Twickenham and Pinewood-based film businesses, 'GearBox Soho' will give the video post community immediate access to sales, hire, support and system design services.
