TSI TX strikes production agreement with The Move Channel

TSI TX, the leading London-based broadcast services company, has announced a major production and channel management agreement with The Move Channel, the UK's first digital TV channel dedicated to all aspects of property.
The channel, managed by TSI TX, will provide estate agents and property developers with the opportunity to promote their properties directly into the homes of 7.5 million Sky Digital subscribers. The channel provides a new, dynamic and powerful tool to estate agents and developers in marketing their property portfolios and services.
TSI TX, in conjunction with Skin, TSI's award-winning branding company, has designed the look and feel of the channel. TSI TX will manage the entire content workflow, from production to post-production and scheduling in a move that sees broadcasters' increasingly outsource broadcast services to companies such as TSI TX who are fluent in providing tailor made end-to-end broadcast solutions. Typically, TSI TX's production crews will produce one to two minute promos for each property showing the main features of the house or flat. The TSI TX production team will then add relevant sales information and a voice-over.
Once the segments are ready to air TSI TX will deliver the finished content via fibre to NTL, for channel playout and uplinking onto NTL's Eurobird transponder for the Sky Digital platform.
This new announcement by TSI TX underlines the company's position as a provider of end-to-end broadcast services, from production, channel management, to live sports and interactive services.
Rupert Graves, General Manager, said: "My goal is to position TSI TX as the broadcast out-source solution for any broadcast proposition. Our deal with The Move Channel proves that we can not only provide technical and creative services to broadcasters, but can provide channel management too."
Kevin Cochrane, Commercial Director of The Move Channel, said: "The Move Channel is a broadcasting first, not only being the first property specific TV channel, but also in the way in which we are placing the power of TV as a marketing tool within the grasp of the property sector. Because we are a cutting edge operation, we required the services of a production supplier that can give us the assurance of proven expertise. TSI clearly demonstrated that ability to us and we are very excited about our partnership.''
