Shop USA shopping channel gets the TSI Design touch
TSI Design, the graphics arm of broadcast services company TSI, are producing a series of graphics packages to brand Sirius Retail Television’s new Shop USA home shopping channel.
The channel will launch on Sky Digital in late October 2002.
The project, one of a number that TSI Design has produced for Sirius TV, includes a complete channel-branding package – from idents and stings to call-to-actions and sponsorships.
Shop USA is a graphics-heavy blend of live-action images and stylised US graphics. It received the full TSI Design treatment – from creation of 3D backgrounds in TSI’s new 3D department to final compositing and editing in TSI’s smoke and fire suites. All sequences were designed and directed by TSI Design’s Creative Director, Malcolm Dalton.
Sirius TV Director of Content and Operations, Chris Parsons, said: “The brief we gave TSI was for a polished and professional end-product that captured the slick feel of American infomercials. We felt that in the ridiculously short timeframe they had, they achieved the unachievable and produced fantastic results.”
