RIVALS.NET TEAM UP WITH NICKELODEON

CHRYSALIS-BACKED sports network Rivals.net have teamed up with the kids cable and satellite TV channel Nickelodeon to run a series of football promotions and content share.
On a monthly basis, Nickelodeon viewers will get the chance to win family trips to see a Premiership football match of their choice. Nickelodeon will run editorial promotional trails and pre-recorded jointly branded promotional trails inviting viewers to log on to Nickelodeon’s website to enter.
Nickelodeon will brand their sporting content on the their website ‘Powered by Rivals.net’. Content will be supplied by the Rivals.net content team and reflect the Rivals.net brand of independence and passion for every football club in the UK.
David Jenkins, Head of Business Development for Nickelodeon, said: “Our kids love football and they get particularly excited when they can win football related prizes. The Rivals partnership means we can keep our kids up to date with the goings-on at the big Premiership outfits and at their local clubs. This deal with its great content and prizes means that even more kids will want to be ‘in’ with Nickelodeon.”
Nickelodeon are widely available in all cable and satellite homes and reaches 2,818,000 kids a month. (CD)
