The European League of Football has partnered with Qvest for a full-service FAST channel playout solution.

With free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) channels, the European League of Football can reach even more sports fans worldwide in a very viewer friendly, flexible, immersive, and engaging way. Qvest powers up the American Football experience with its latest all-in-one cloud playout product makalu.

The highly performant software schedules, plays, and manages all content online from the cloud. Moreover, makalu automatically optimizes the video content for streaming on all selected platforms. As a result, the European League of Football and Qvest can offer a new level of online-based broadcasting experience for all football fans outside the stadiums. As the Technology Partner for FAST channel playout, Qvest will initially take care of the housing, hosting and operation of the channels of the league in Germany and the United Kingdom. The common goal of the European League of Football and Qvest is to establish these channels on as many platforms as possible to make the fascination of American Football accessible to further target groups and thus to push the popularity of the sport and also its economic development.

"This new partnership with Qvest will not only be a benefit to us as a league, but especially to the 17 teams across Europe and their fans. Qvest enables us to use advertising pools, to concentrate on American Football content we are promoting globally and bringing the league closer to fans worldwide," said Zeljko Karajica, CEO of the European League of Football.

With the cloud playout automation software makalu, the league can expand its content reach and consistently extend its fan base by personalizing the user experience of the streaming and broadcasting on online-based platforms. Moreover, the European League of Football can now easily scale advertising revenues and quickly reach new markets, viewers and fans of American Football. As a technology partner, Qvest offers the European League of Football a holistic solution, from technical implementation to distribution on various platforms.
