Aardman complete CG spots for Nickelodeon

Aardman has completed production on 'The Presentators', five 90 second CG spots for Nickelodeon to be broadcast from October 2002.
Commissioned by Nickelodeon’s Creative Director Steve Shannon, the production took four months to develop, animate and post produce. 'The Presentators' was inspired by the Aardman award winning CG film, 'Deadline'.
Each episode features three hapless heroes, Brian, Stefan and Dan who present their show from their desk. Being completely untrained in TV presentation, each situation sees them struggling to get to grips with the job at hand, their very different personalities make interesting conflict and comedy.
The series was directed by Stefan Marjoram who also animated with the help of Dan Lane and Steve Blake.
Marjoram said: "When people see the films produced by Aardman’s CG department, they often ask if we were trying to recreate the look of model animation - but we're not. What we are trying to recreate is the charm, timing and strong design which Aardman's traditional films are so well known for. The Presentators is a good example of this."
