Pinnacle Systems launches Deko3000
Pinnacle Systems has introduced Deko3000, the company's new flagship real-time character generator.
Featuring Pinnacle's innovative Inflexion engine for real-time 3D playback, Deko3000 maintains complete compatibility with existing Deko products plus upgradeability to the recently announced Deko3000 HD; setting the stage for the future of one of the world's best-selling family of broadcast graphics production systems.
"While enjoying the incredible rate of adoption of Deko's innovative graphics workflow, Pinnacle has kept an eye on the future," said David Hopkins, general manager of Pinnacle's Live-to-Air business. "We are now poised to give customers more motions, more design capability and more efficiency as well as upgradeability. Providing the full capability of our leading high-end character generator Pinnacle's FXDeko II, as a starting point, Deko3000 integrates into the Deko family and gives broadcasters the power to differentiate themselves both on the air and behind the scenes with real-time 3D playback."
