Macromedia RoboHelp X5 adds Microsoft Word 2003 support

Macromedia’s RoboHelp X5 has added support for Microsoft Word 2003, allowing users to choose Word 2003 as their authoring environment, import Word 2003 documents into help projects and generate printed documentation using Word 2003.
"RoboHelp has pioneered many of the innovative technologies that have advanced the help authoring industry," said Anthony Olivier, senior vice president and general manager, Macromedia. "This integration fits in with our strategy to ensure people can use their authoring tools of choice."
Larry Schunk, Snapshot software product manager, Infrastructure Solutions, added: "As a Microsoft Certified Partner, we tend to move to the latest versions of all Microsoft products as soon as they are released.
"When we asked for Word 2003 support, Macromedia responded quickly and did a flawless job of providing that support in a timely fashion. We are now able to easily incorporate all of our Word 2003 based materials created by various people into the help system for our product quickly and easily."
