FT2 open recruitment for Skillset-funded new entrant schemes

FILM and Television Freelance Training (FT2) are to offer paid training opportunities for talented young people who aim to begin careers in junior technical, craft and production positions in the film and television industry.
FT2 are the leading training provider for young people who wish to become freelance assistants in the construction, production and technical areas of the industry.
Established in 1985, FT2 are a non profit making company limited by guarantee with charitable status and who receive funding from the Skillset Freelance Investment Funds, the European Social Fund, Channel 4 Television, the APA and directly from independent production companies and construction companies participating in FT2's Researchers and Setcrafts training initiatives.
Young people who believe they have the talent and commitment to work in the film and television industry can get further information and application forms for the FT2 New Entrant Technical Programme, the Set Crafts Apprenticeship Scheme and the Independent Companies Researcher Training Scheme from:
