Keynote speaker for NAB 2002 named
The keynote speaker for the 'Financial Outlook for Technology and Media Industries' super session at NAB 2002 has been announced.
Philip Langsdale, the chief executive officer of BBC Technology, will deliver the keynote speaker for delegates attending the super session at NAB 2002.
Langsdale will address issues facing broadcasters across all technology platforms, including interactive media. As new media technology seemingly carries the potential to turn everyone into a broadcaster, Langsdale will argue that compelling content – and not technology – is the key to creating a successful business model.
The speech will be followed by a panel discussion of technological trends and forecasts that will impact all forms of media, along with the evolution of the Internet and wireless technologies.
The event runs from April 6-11 in Las Vegas.
