2002 Studios Unveil New Projects
London-based music and sound production company 2002 Studios have been asked by Archon Games to provide music for their next video game project. They are currently working together to develop a new adventure game, but 2002 have also been asked to provide music for an additional project, which is aimed at the digital download markets.
The studio is also set to gain more exposure from the release of LA-based company GoPlay's new iPhone game Super Smoothie.
The studio also provided the music and sound to the company's previous title Popple. Managing Director Steven Guervitz said that Super Smoothie is quite a step up in terms of level of content provision and user experience. The game should be going gold in the next week and then can be submitted to Apple for approval.
2002 Studios also recently completed a Beat Poetry album for up-and-coming artist Yomi Sode. Going by the name of I am greeds, his album Volume in Silence was released in September. All the recording was completed at 2002 and Yomi also used the studio for final mastering.
