Xytech to show latest workflow solutions at NAB 2002

Xytech's latest media asset and workflow management software for the entertainment and media industries will be on show at NAB 2002.
Xytech' first new version in a year, Enterprise 2002, is a fully integrated workflow management solution, containing over 400 improvements and useful new features, including: client/server synchronisation, a new system module option which auto-updates client PCs when new Enterprise versions and custom.pbd files are available; a new application toolbar which gives one-click access to any available module and menu item; enhanced job/work order/duplication order logs provide a wider level of control in how the system tracks changes made to records. Also, instalment request invoices (IRQs) can now be created for any job containing at least one approved bid.
Also on display will be a prototype PDA interface for FMS2000, Xytech's facility management system designed to fulfil the special requirements of small to medium-sized companies. Customers with the core FMS2000 version 4.1 system will be able to copy schedules onto their PDAs running Palm 0S 3.1 by Hotsyncing, or select any specific information that they want to see from the FMS2000 database. The PDA interface is currently in Beta test, and is expected to ship in July 2002.
Xytech will be showing an improved web browser interface for Enterprise. Offering a number of improvements over the original version, Xytech claim the interface is simpler, more refined, and is easier to read. It also has a more intuitive and friendly user interface; and several important new security features have been added.
Xytech offers a variety of professional services - business analysis, systems planning, programming, training, deployment, and support.
Xytech software is used at some of the largest television networks, movie studios, corporations and postproduction facilities in the world, including ABC, CBS, A&E, Disney, Warner Bros., Sony Pictures, Boeing, Ford, Intel and Liberty LiveWire.
