BBC renews training partnership with Omnibus

BBC Training & Development has announced the renewal of its partnership with OmniBus Systems Limited.
The partnership was established in 2001, in order to offer a range of OmniBus courses at dedicated facilities at the BBC's Wood Norton training centre in Worcestershire.
The courses cover Foundation level trough to Transmission Automation User and Transmission Automation Super, for those who require in-depth knowledge of OmniBus software. An engineering course for those who install or maintain OmniBus systems is also available.
OmniBus, which is based in Stanford-on-Soar, near Nottingham and Nevada City, California, has established a worldwide reputation as the premier provider of broadcast automation systems. The company manufactures a comprehensive range of software solutions that cover every aspect of broadcast operations, from the control of satellite dishes through acquisition and recording, low and high-resolution editing and media asset management to playout and archiving. Current users include: BBC Presentation, ITN and Time Warner Cable.
BBC Training & Development is the world's largest broadcast training organisation, training BBC staff as well as the international production and broadcast industry.
Simon Shute, Head of Broadcast Training at BBC Training & Development, welcomed the renewal of the BBC and OmniBus' partnership.
