BBC Cardiff to install 90 JVC monitors

JVC Professional have sold 90 monitors for installation at the BBC Wales studio in Cardiff, through systems integrator dB Broadcast.
The large JVC monitor stack is being installed in both the vision / production and audio control rooms of Studio C2, which is used as a BBC's news room and as a studio control room.
Tom Swan, dB Broadcast's Director of Sales and Marketing, said: "Our preferred choice of monitor for this application was JVC and, following a competitive tender, this was also chosen by the BBC."
dB's contract embraces the design, prefabrication, installation and commissioning of technical furniture and systems for the gallery, and the supply and installation of 19 inch racks and cabling for equipment located in a nearby apparatus room.
To speed up delivery time, much of the system will be prefabricated and tested at dB Broadcast's manufacturing base, before being shipped to Cardiff.
