DGP Audio Chooses Scrub To Install Pro Tools and ICON Systems

DGP Audio, the sister company of London-based DVD and post-production facility DGP, has chosen HHB's specialist division Scrub to install Pro Tools and ICON systems into two of its audio suites.
The two suites have each been equipped with ICON D-Command 24 fader consoles and Pro Tools HD3 Accel/Mojo systems.
Situated in Soho, DGP is an independent facility providing post-production and new media technologies to the film, DVD, home video, broadcast and corporate sectors. Earlier this year, the company expanded its operations to cover audio post-production. The new systems are part of an update to the studio premises it took over in April.
"We recognised that audio represented a hole in the business," said DGP's General Manager, Rowan Bray. "We wanted to be able to offer our clients a complete service, so they could have the DGP experience at all stages of their projects."
After finding premises in April, DGP began upgrading the hardware to give them the three 5.1 suites and one stereo suite that their facility now boasts.
"We took good advice from Scrub and our clients," said Bray. "Obviously, Pro Tools is the industry leader with good reason - it does everything we need and the D-Command delivers excellent compatibility as a control surface."
With its new systems in place, DGP Audio has recently completed work on the 'The Smiths: Hotels for Two', a series in HD for Outline Productions. The project was also mixed in 5.1 for US broadcast.
Commenting on behalf of Scrub, Director of Sales Ben Nemes said: "We're delighted that DGP Audio has chosen Digidesign systems to be the heart of its audio studios. We're looking forward to supporting their growth into the audio market."
