Picture Canning purchase LCC Photon fixtures

News Image
The Picture Canning Company, one of London's leading broadcast suppliers, have added two, four and six tube Skylight Fluorescent lighting fixtures to their rental stock.
The fixtures, introduced by LCC Photon Technik, are supplied with two sets of colour balanced tubes enabling them to be used indoors or outside. The units can be dimmed and controlled using 0-10 volt control protocol or DMX512, enabling them to be linked together and controlled from a central position remotely. Skylights are built into a fibreglass transit case for ease of shipping and accessories can be carried in the lid along with spare lamps. The units can be used with the full range of intensifiers, grids and gel frames giving the user a flexible and extremely portable lighting solution in locations that do not have a commercial power supply or air-conditioning.
Mike Hand-Bowman, Picture Canning Company's Operations Manager, was impressed with the light output, the rugged construction, low power consumption and operational flexibility that the units give the user. The units have been used continuously since they took their place in the hire warehouse, in both studio and location situations.
