SSS and Quantel partnership formed

The Screen Subtitling Systems Polistream system has been manipulated to produce a Quantel compatible plug-in, via an interface to its generationQ product range, to support the creation, editing and burn-in of subtitles.
The SSS Polistream system is designed to provide the broadcaster with the ability to implement, control and monitor the transmission of subtitles in a simple, cost-effective and flexible manner.
The Polistream system is developed with the careful use of advanced new encoding, streaming, and distribution techniques.
This powerful combination of technology allows the simple and effective integration with other broadcast manufacturers to enable a smooth operation flow of data, timing, graphics, and video.
