SGT And Video Promotion At The AV Manifestatie Show In Hilversum

A leading global software vendor in the broadcast and media industry, SGT, will be present at the show AV Manifestatie in Hilversum, the Netherlands from May 27-28.
SGT can be found at Stand 88 together with its privileged integration partner for Belgium and the Netherlands, Video Promotion and will show a series of new features of its VEDA software suite for workflow automation and video content management.
SGT has a proven track record in implementing its software solution in Belgium and the Netherlands. The main features of the VEDA suite that will be shown at the AV Manifestatie show are:

• VEDA Search & Retrieve - VEDA Search & Retrieve is an intelligent semantic search engine offering unrivalled research power. While Search allows finding material based on similar expressions or even misspelled key words, Retrieve allows discovering the intended material and story paths. Search & Retrieve supports more than 15 languages and proposes synonyms, related subjects, people or places - thus, enough elements to enlarge or deepen the research.
• VED Automation client - The new VEDA Automation client is an easy to use, powerful and intuitive playout application. SGT has put a particular attention on its ergonomics and the overall presentation. This application is composed of 10 modules that can be organised to meet the user's needs and allow tailoring the workspace through a graphical tool (a configuration with a double screen is also possible). In addition to the classical features for playlist management, VEDA Automation offers:
• An access to the entire media database
• Preview functions in low and high res
• Monitoring tools per timeline
• Process supervision tools

All these features are based on SGT's technology platform that is best known for highest reliability, upgradeability and performance. It offers new BXF interfaces and Web Services to ensure a greater integration with third-party tools installed at the client's site.
