SGT And Interra Systems Sign Industry And Technology Partnership

A leading global software vendor in the broadcast and media industry, SGT, and Interra Systems, the provider of digital media solutions to enable delivery of high quality media products and content, has announced that they signed an industry and technology partnership agreement to provide their joint customers with seamlessly integrated, customisable and flexible product solutions to enhance the systems quality and reliability of their broadcast installations.
VEDA is SGT's flagship product and integrates the company's unique know-how and expertise in workflow automation and video content management for traditional broadcasters with the need for multi-delivery models. Baton is Interra's industry leading software solution for automated content verification for file-based media throughout the content lifecycle. Both companies have already collaborated on several customer successes in Northern Europe.
The objective of the partnership is to provide joint customers with powerful, flexible and integrated product solutions that help them to increase the reliability and quality of their systems throughout the content lifecycle. With the VEDA Quality Check module, operators can visualise high-resolution material to check the technical information and to generate quality reports. Thanks to the integration of Baton with VEDA, they now also have access to error reports. Hence, in just one click, the operator can see the list of content anomalies generated by Interra and check their relevance. This facilitates their tasks, increases their efficiency and accelerates the validation process.
François Chiche, Vice President Sales and Marketing at SGT, said: "The partnership with Interra Systems is strategic as our products are highly complementary and provide significant economical advantages to our joint customers especially for TV channels with a strong need for quality check and systems integrity."
The partnership is part of Interra's partnership program called Baton-Connect that enables solution vendors across media content lifecycle to integrate Baton into their solutions. Baton is a leading software solution to ensure content readiness and is widely used by global media companies engaged in content creation, production and delivery. With the Baton-Connect program, Interra's industry partners can integrate Baton and ensure seamless availability of Baton within their respective solutions.
Krishna Uppuluri, Vice-President of Marketing at Interra Systems, said: "We are pleased to welcome SGT to our Baton-Connect partnership program. As the media industry transitions to file-based content, there is a requirement for streamlining content readiness using workflow automation and content verification systems. Our partnership with SGT enables this industry requirement with the integration of Interra's Baton and SGT's VEDA solutions."
