OmniTek Strengthens Management Team

Innovative test and measurement manufacturer OmniTek has announced it has strengthened its management team by hiring industry veteran, Dave Bourton, as production manager responsible for all aspects of customer fulfilment at the company.
Mike Hodson, President of OmniTek, said: "Dave will now be responsible for managing the internal and external manufacturing of OmniTek's entire range of test and measurement solutions including the new OTM 1000 3 Gb/s waveform monitor, signal analyser and generator.
"He will also oversee the procurement, planning and testing of all our systems to ensure orders are completed with the optimum efficiency."
Bourton explained: "My aim is to further improve levels of customer service to our customer base of major manufacturers and broadcasters world-wide. By implementing best-practice systems we will enable our customers to take full advantage of OmniTek's superior design and engineering team and their innovative solutions for the test and measurement sector."
Bourton has more than 20 years experience in the broadcast sector. Prior senior roles include 15 years as production manager at Snell & Wilcox and two years as production manager at Pro-Bel.
Formed in 2001, OmniTek specialises in the development of video analysis equipment for SD, HD and digital cinema applications. In 2008, OmniTek was awarded a Queen's Award for Enterprise, for innovation on the XR system.
