Bebo Showcases Unsigned Acts

Social networking website, Bebo plans to join forces with RDF Digital, part of the RDF Media Group, to produce a 26x6' weekly magazine show tentatively titled, 'B-Box', designed to highlight the best new content on the social media network.
From unsigned acts to hilarious homemade videos, the series will give community members the chance to see their name in lights.
The show will cover newly released films, games and music and allow users to catch up on all 'Bebo Originals'.
Each episode will feature re-occurring strands, including '60 Second Celebrity', where celebs reveal a hidden talent or complete a challenge chosen by the presenters.
Anti knife crime campaign ‘It Doesn’t Have To Happen’ and Cadbury Creme Egg have signed up as sponsors of the show. RDF Digital and Bebo are also in talks with other potential partners.
Kelly Brett, Head of Original Productions, Bebo said: "This is an exciting venture for Bebo and we are delighted to have already signed up some fantastic sponsors. 'B-Box' is a great opportunity for us to show off the incredible content available across Bebo in a unique and entertaining way.
"It will be a weekly chance for our members to feel connected to the site while getting a quick fix of all things showbiz."
Charlie Leahy, Executive Producer, RDF Digital said: "B-Box is the ideal platform to celebrate the Bebo community.
"The show will not only pinpoint specific users and groups who are actively adding content and being creative, but will also showcase all the latest in film, music, gaming, 'Bebo Originals' and more.
"It is also the perfect show for brands to get involved with due to its adaptability and the fact that we can create really fun integrations that will fit naturally within the show," he said.
It is planned that “B-Box” will be energetic, innovative and informative at the same time with a fun tongue-in-cheek feel- good vibe.
This is helped by the up and coming vibrant young presenters Alice Levine and James Cooper whose energy and wit are sure to be a hit with Bebo members.
Bebo and RDF Digital are discussing celebrity guests for early shows, including The Saturdays, N-Dubz and Chris Mintz-Plasse (McLovin from Superbad).
The parties are planning for 'B-Box' to be studio based with plenty of location filming from red carpets to theme parks and major sporting and cultural events.
