Severyn leaves TSI for BMS consultancy role

Broadcast Management Services has recently announced that Mike Severyn, former Managing Director of TSI Transmission (TSI TX), has joined their consultancy operation as a partner and director.
Severyn explained: "This is a natural progression for me. I've had a lot of fun setting up and helping TSI TX grow as a business, but the time had definitely come to start planning new ventures.
“I believe that there is a real need in the market for this type of service, and I'm looking forward to becoming involved once more in the development of a new company."
Broadcast Management Services provides management, operational and technical expertise in collaboration with new and existing broadcasters in the launching of channels in the UK and Europe, together with the restructuring of existing operations.
Commenting on Severyn joining, Nick Carter, Director, Broadcast Management Services confirmed: "We are very pleased to have attracted someone of Mike's calibre to join us - particularly with his added experience of doing work in Europe for the likes of Canal Digital, Fox Kids and National Geographic.
“We are looking at offering a complete solution for our clients, utilising the variety of international products available on the market today and bringing together a wealth of expertise to this domain."
Severyn has recently completed a successful tenure as managing director of TSI TX - responsible for TSI TX's successful growth into the new wave of digital satellite broadcasting, including pioneering cost effective, international, multi-region playout services offering localised, multi-language and interactive content integration.
