Africa Channel To Premiere 'African Presidents: Robert Mugabe'

The Africa Channel, the US based television network showcasing the rich and diverse perspectives of Africa’s people, will premiere 'African Presidents: Robert Mugabe', on December 27 at 9pm on Sky Channel 281.
The special will feature a rare and exclusive interview with the controversial Zimbabwean President, Mugabe, and will be hosted by James Makawa, CEO/co-founder, The Africa Channel.
The one-hour special will include the first in-depth interview with President Mugabe, in several years. Considered by some to be a brutal dictator and others a revolutionary hero, Mugabe has found himself increasingly at odds with the United States and Great Britain over many of his policies.
During the special, Mugabe is more outspoken than ever as he responds to questions on a wide range of issues, including the history of his rise to power, the current state of an economy that’s in shambles, Mugabe’s relationship with the West, his government’s controversial land redistribution program, the country’s growing financial ties to Eastern giants like China and his plans to ensure government or Black control of most businesses in Zimbabwe.
'African Presidents' will continue to profile the men and women who are shaping the future of Africa. For the first time, the continent’s most controversial leaders give rare and unprecedented interviews exclusively to The Africa Channel.
