Dantz Development appoint two vice presidents

Dantz Development Corporation, a provider of backup and restore software, have announced the appointment of two new vice presidents.
Software engineering and management veteran Rocky Offner joins the company as Vice President of Engineering and high-tech sales executive Joshua Feller comes on board as Vice President of Sales.
Offner, in his new position, will be responsible for all areas of product design, development and quality assurance. He will manage Dantz's team of veteran storage software engineers, as well as the hardware certification and software quality assurance groups.
Prior to joining Dantz, Offner served as vice president of engineering at Equilibrium where he built the software engineering team from the ground up and led the development of all products.
In addition, Offner has served as software engineering manager at Light Source and held engineering positions at Pixar, Bear River Associates, Olivetti and The Santa Cruz Operation.
Feller will lead the Dantz worldwide sales team and be responsible for developing and implementing the company's sales strategies and programmes as the company launches new products and expands their sales channel. He comes to Dantz with 20 years of industry experience and a track record of success.
Most recently, Feller served as Managing Director at Martin Wolf Associates, an investment bank specialising in technology mergers and acquisitions where he developed strategies and processes for potential buyers. Prior to that he held the COO post of the Franchise and Distribution Division of ComputerLand Corporation. Feller was responsible for growing the franchise base and the Datago affiliate programme to nearly $1.2 billion in revenue.
