MwareTV To Present Its Turnkey Solution At MWC Africa
MwareTV is to attend MWC Africa (stand E57, Kigali Convention Centre, 29 – 31 October) to present its popular and proven turnkey solution at an affordable price point.
Establishing and sustaining a viable streaming service demands excellence in three key areas: a central platform with a high degree of automation; engaging and intuitive access for subscribers; and excellent content. MwareTV provides all three.
MwareTV TVMS (TV Management System) provides everything needed for operations, from content management and precision playout to subscription tracking and special offers. Its billing system has an integrated shopping cart and payment gateways, marketing capabilities and a full suite of management reporting.
Unique to TVMS is App Builder, now in version 2. This remarkable tool allows the operator to create tailored, branded, intuitive user interfaces for all the devices likely to be used to receive the service, including iOS, Android and AndroidTV, TVOS, FireTV, KaiOS, Roku, WebOS, Tizen and WebTV.
Designers can build the functionality they need, and the service’s look and feel, without the need to write a single line of code. Using drag and drop users create common, welcoming user interfaces, with TVMS automatically generating all the back-end code to ensure the service operates faultlessly and securely.
MwareTV also solves key issues around curating content, from content strategy, sourcing and negotiations, through an established network of content partners. Together, they tailor the optimum package of channels and materials, building a complete service of local, national, regional and international services, quickly and efficiently.
"What makes MwareTV such an attractive proposition is that we take away all the worries and the pain points, allowing telcos and service operators to concentrate on building their markets," said MwareTV CEO Sander Kerstens. "The service is completely cloud-based so there is no capital or maintenance expenditure on hardware; designers can create the user experience they want for their subscribers with no need for specialist skills; and with our partners we can build a bouquet of 100 or more channels that audiences want to watch."
"Most important, our contracts are directly linked to subscriber numbers, so you pay as you grow," Kerstens said. "Operators have a fixed and clear total cost of operation, of as little as $3 to $4 per subscriber per month, showing the route to high subscriber retention and exponentially growing profitability."
Visitors to stand E57 in Kigali will have the opportunity to talk their ideas through with an MwareTV expert. By the end of the conversation, not only will they have a clear understanding of how simple it can be to develop and run a streaming service using the MwareTV platform, but they will also walk away with a fully-worked, fully-costed proof of concept showing how they can excite subscribers and win new revenues.
