Triangle Post Chooses OmniTek XR Image Analysis System

Test and measurement manufacturer OmniTek has announced that Triangle Post, through its UK dealer, InnoMedia Systems, has selected the OmniTek XR image analysis system for its state-of-the art facility based in Soho.
Triangle Post - which has in the past worked on projects for advertising clients including O2, 3Mobile and Toyota - will use the XR image analysis and quality control solution in its machine room on all its future projects.
"To ensure the continued quality of our high-profile work we needed a comprehensive monitoring solution that was capable of analysing both SD and HD," confirms Sinead Gaffrey, Facilities Manager at Triangle Post. "In addition, the XR can run 2K sequential loads so the system not only matches our current needs but we now have a future-proof, monitoring solution for all our output."
The OmniTek XR is specifically designed for colourists and post production editors working in a high-definition environment. It offers users a comprehensive monitoring system that is compatible with all regular SD and HD formats. This enables detailed analysis of the colourimetry and gamut of the specific material being processed.
In addition, The OmniTek XR has a number of unique features not available on any other monitoring system, such as "extreme resolution" waveform and vector displays for total image analysis; real-time colour histogram displays in a variety of different gamuts; support for all 2K and dual-link input formats, with user-programmable LUTs to correct for non-linear inputs; support for "XYZ" colour space inputs for users working in digital cinema.
