'Jay Jay The Jet Plane' To Take Flight On TG4

The award winning pre-school cartoon ‘Jay Jay the Jet Plane’ has been dubbed into an Irish language series 'Tadhaigín an tEitleán' for broadcast on TG4 this Winter, starting on November 2 at 2.45pm.
The transformation of the worldwide series took place at Belfast based Zoogon Ltd., a subsidiary of the Telegael Media Group. Twenty six half hour episodes have been produced with local actress Nuala Ní Néill starring as the live host, Bronagh Beag.
It follows the adventures of a perky and curious six-year old jet plane named Tadhaigín and his aeroplane friends who live and play at Tarrytown Airport , a place 'where imagination takes flight'. The animated television series is a successful part of PBS KIDS in the US, Channel Five in the UK and on other leading children’s networks worldwide, reaching over 50 countries. It is hoped that it will become a successful part of the TG4 schedule also.
Zoogon Ltd. received support from the Irish Language Broadcast Fund in conjunction with the Northern Ireland Film & Television Commission and all involved are delighted with the completed series.
