BeBanjo And Cognacq-Jay Image Provides Service To Power Cirkus

BeBanjo and Cognacq-Jay Image, both part of TDF Media Services, have announced that they will be providing a fully integrated service to power Cirkus, the new SVOD service that will bring the best of British Drama, Comedy & Factual TV series to pay TV platform operators, initially in the Nordic territory. Services include:
• Non-linear Rights Management and Scheduling with BeBanjo's Movida
• Metadata & Image management through BeBanjo's Metadata product: editorial capabilities along with automatic validation, transformation and publication
• Encoding & Transcoding services for all targeted platforms via Cognacq-Jay Images's Media Factory, fully integrated with BeBanjo's Sequence for Workflow Management and Tracking.
Cirkus' SVOD service brings together a fantastic catalogue of premium British content sourced from ITV Global Entertainment, BBC Worldwide and All3Media International and will be available to TV viewers via cable, IPTV, and connected DTT in Sweden from 1 December this year.
Cirkus turned to BeBanjo and Cognacq-Jay Image to meet the challenge of publishing all their licensed content to multiple platforms in a secure, efficient and automated fashion. The BeBanjo products will help Cirkus to schedule all licensed content across multiple platforms and territories, transform and publish metadata to each platform and track all the content processing workflow from the moment the materials are received until they are made available to end consumers.
Cognacq-Jay Image's Media Factory, fully integrated with BeBanjo products, will be the engine performing all of the content processing, including encoding, transcoding and subtitle insertion.
