Rob Jones joins Megahertz engineering team

Megahertz Broadcast Systems has announced the appointment of Rob Jones to the position of junior project engineer.
After graduating from the University of York in 2005 with a degree in Electronic Engineering, Jones spent a supervised Year In Industry working as a student engineer at Dolby Laboratories in Wiltshire. While there, he was involved in the support and development of applications for multi-channel audio in broadcast, post-production and cinema. He also worked on the development of a cinema subtitling content authoring and playback system.
"Rob is a highly motivated and enthusiastic young engineer who brings plenty of useful experience in IP networking and routing to the company," said Megahertz Technical Director Steve Burgess. "At megahertz he will have the opportunity to apply his knowledge to a wide range of Outside Broadcast and System Integration projects."
