Roger Khoo joins Dayang International as Engineering Manager

Dayang has appointed Roger Khoo as the Engineering Manager of Dayang International.
Based in Singapore, he is responsible for technical training, customer support, project engineering and technical liaison with overseas distributors.
Roger Khoo worked as a technical specialist in the Singapore Air Force from 1982 to 1988 before becoming a service engineer specialising in industrial equipment. In 1999 he joined O'Connor's (Singapore) Pte Ltd, progressing in 1993 to supervising engineer and a year later to customer support manager leading a team of 20 staff in the company's Broadcast/Multimedia and Lighting/Staging departments. In December 2000 he joined Tech-Venture Systems Pte Ltd where he has worked for nearly six years as business development director, managing the company's product distribution activities, system design and proposals, training and after-sales support.
Dayang International CEO Karlton Burn commented: "Roger is popular and highly respected among broadcasters and facility managers in South East Asia, not least as an energetic training instructor and practical on-site engineer. He is a very welcome member of the Dayang team and will be co-operating closely with customers and with our R & D colleagues in Beijing, Shanghai and Tianjin."
Roger Khoo added: "Dayang is active across the entire spectrum of the television business, from desktop postproduction stations up to network-wide multidefinition content creation, management and presentation systems. The worldwide shift from SD to HD and into new modes of programme delivery makes this is a very exciting time to be joining such an agile and innovative company."
