Roger Wilson Appointed Managing Director Of Camera Dynamics

The Vitec Group has appointed Roger Wilson as Managing Director of Camera Dynamics, a business unit of their Broadcast Systems Division.
Camera Dynamics is a global leader in professional video and film camera support equipment through its six highly respected brands: Sachtler, OConnor, Petrol, Vinten, Vinten Radamec and Autoscript.
Wilson joined Camera Dynamics in September 2007 and is a member of the Broadcast Systems Divisional Management Team, leading this global role from the company’s headquarters in Bury St Edmunds, UK.
Wilson has a strong background in new product development, sales, marketing and general management as well as working in multiple channel distribution markets.
He has almost 30 years’ experience of international and multi-site business management across a number of different industrial sectors including automotive, FMCG, white goods and engineered capital goods. Roger has achieved great success in growing businesses through innovation, gaining market share in competitive environments and leading businesses into new profitable market segments. He most recently held the position of Managing Director of Kohler Mira Ltd.
In his role at Camera Dynamics, Roger will be working closely with Joop Janssen, Chief Executive, Vitec Group, Broadcast Systems Division.
