NEW FACILITIES MANAGER FOR THE MILL

LONDON based Digital Effects Provider, The Mill, has appointed Mark Sherwood as facilities manager.
The Mill management change follows the move by Andy Barmer to the newly
created role of development director of new media.
Robin Shenfield, CEO, commented: "Mark brings 20 years of commercials experience to The Mill both as a client and a producer. Andy, who has been with The Mill for nearly ten years, understands the industry and what our clients need to work more efficiently. He will be concentrating on building e-services for our clients via emill and developing other new media initiatives that we plan to launch later this year. They are both strong managers and leaders. We are very excited about what they can bring to The Mill in their new roles."
Barmer joined in 1991 as The Mill's first ever in-house producer. In 1995 he was promoted to head of the production department where he built up a team of experienced commercials producers. For the past two and a half years Barmer has been running day to day operations at The Mill as facility director. Recently Barmer’s interest in the potential of the internet as a vehicle to supply televisual material has led to the launch of emill digital delivery service and his new role as development director of new media.
