Mill 3D boost team with new producer

The Mill London have hired Gilbert (Gil) James as a Senior 3D Producer.
James joins the busy Mill 3D team from MPC where he has recently been working for the film team having previously worked in commercials. Gil will be working very closely with the 3D Manager Stephen Venning, who said: "Having Gilbert on board is just all round good news for us at The Mill. Gil's has great experience of producing both high end animation and CGI for both movies and commercials. He's got some excellent ideas of how we can improve on what we've been doing with animation and CGI at the Mill and he's a top bloke to boot!"
James’ recent film credits include: ‘Troy’, ‘Alexander’, ‘Corpse Bride’ and ‘Around the World in 80 Days’ and he is currently producing spots for Coca-Cola (Powerade), Land Rover, Lynx and Tango.
The Mill 3D team have just won a Creative Circle and a place in the Creative Review Annual for the PSP spot ‘A Day In The Life’.
London based 3D animator Vincent Baertsoen has been nominated for Boards magazine ‘First Boards’ award which recognises the best emerging talent of the year.
