DIGITAL IMAGES OPT FOR DIGITAL VISION

DIGITAL Images, a DVD production development company, have become the first in Europe to choose Digital Vision’s high-definition MPEG encoding and compression system.
Managing Director of Digital Images Ernst Borger said: “We are now moving to HD and looking at digital cinema, digital archiving, video-on-demand and broadband opportunities. To support this, we will also start telecine transfer in house.”
Digital Images will take delivery of the entire HD encoding and compression system during the next ten weeks. Digital Vision plan to work closely with the facility to support their installation and use.
CEO of Digital Vision Peter Weiss said: “Now we can get things moving in Europe through this practical application with Digital Images.”
