SVT adds third Digital Vision Valhall Colour Grade and Restore system

Digital Vision announced that Swedish Television (SVT), based in Stockholm, Sweden, has purchased its third Valhall Colour Grade colour correction system.
SVT is a major European broadcaster that produces much of its own content and broadcasts to households all over Sweden. SVT currently supports five broadcast channels as well as providing program feeds to cable companies and satellite broadcasting companies in the Nordic region.
SVT will use the system to colour correct and enhance new programs, including documentaries and dramas, as well as restore library material. SVT uses the Digital Vision Valhall system exclusively for these applications.
SVT purchased a complete Valhall system, incorporating the ACP colour corrector, AGR4 ME motion-compensated grain reducer, ASC2 film dirt concealer, ZOM aspect ratio converter and AAC advanced sharpening filter. This new system is identical to the other two Valhall systems that SVT already owns.
