JOBCHANNEL OFFERS NEW JOBS SERVICE

JOBCHANNEL, an online jobs database for digital television and the internet, have launched their new service on NTL’s interactive Local Look Up channel.
Initially available over NTL’s TV-internet and PC NTLworld services, NTL will claim to bring over 60,000 job opportunities from the JobChannel to viewers in their home.
John Hondros, Director of Content at NTL interactive, said: “Having designed the service specifically for interactive television, it is clear that the JobChannel are committed to providing a quality service which can help NTL subscribers secure the right job. We look forward to working with JobChannel and developing additional features to the service.”
The JobChannel will also be introducing services including a CV writing service, job manager and salary checker in early 2001.
Jobchannel.tv is owned by MultiMedia Television, and the company operates one of the UK’s largest database of jobs.
