SysMedia announces new appointments

SysMedia Ltd, leading specialist in content management and production systems for interactive TV, teletext and subtitling solutions, has announced three new appointments – two sales and one technical – as it prepares for a busy 2006.
Jeremy Lutterloch has joined the sales team as Senior Sales Executive, concentrating on the subtitling side of SysMedia’s business. Lutterloch is tasked with further expanding the company’s international dealer partnerships while also engaging at a high level with existing and potential customers.
“I see this as a key point in time for the company’s products in general, and specifically subtitling. It is a growing marketplace with legislation that ensures accessibility to broadcasts beginning to take effect. Speed and quality are key to the production of subtitles and SysMedia enables both to be delivered on budget,” explained Lutterloch.
Lutterloch has extensive broadcast industry experience, having worked most recently for Imagineer Systems and prior to that Quantel, Discreet and Artel Systems, among others.
Vanessa Spock joins as International Business Development Manager for Interactive TV and Content Management from Dalet Digital Media Systems, where over five years she was responsible for the growth of key international strategic accounts and leading the successful implementation of a number of pivotal projects. Spock’s solid international broadcast industry background is the perfect platform to drive further expansion of SysMedia’s global client base for interactive content production and delivery systems across TV, mobile and web delivery mechanisms.
SysMedia has also expanded its subtitling team with the appointment of Adrian Smith as Subtitling Technical Manager. His core role is to manage project delivery by liaising closely with customers. Smith will also be involved with customer training and technical support.
Smith has worked for the past eleven years as a project engineer with BSkyB and has been involved in the delivery of successful major technical facilities projects for the production and transmission of programmes from BSkyB’s main site.
