Granada International inks indie documentary deals

Granada International has inked deals with two UK independent producers to distribute a duo of significant documentary films internationally, it has been announced by Nadine Nohr, Managing Director at Granada International.
Granada International will distribute 'She Stole My Foetus' by acclaimed producer October Films. This is Granada International's first collaboration with October Films, voted second in Broadcast Magazines Top Ten UK Indie Peer Poll in 2005.
The second indie to recently sign up with Granada International is Leeds-based outfit True North. The company's brand new documentary 'In Cold Blood: The Murder of PC Ian Broadhurst' will be distributed internationally by Granada International.
Angela Neillis, Programme Executive, who works closely with independent producers at Granada International, commented: "It is great to have just started relationships with these two distinguished production companies with such superb reputations. The films we are about to distribute are highly original and we look forward to collaborating with them on future projects."

Our aim is to make sure that these documentary films reach the widest possible international audience and ensure that the broadcasters who acquire these shows come back for more."
