Antena3 TV purchases four eQ systems

One of Spain’s leading national networks, Antena3 TV, has purchased four Quantel eQ multi-resolution systems.
One of the eQs will also be configured with the QColor in-context grading option.
Antena3 has been a major user of Quantel systems for many years. The four eQs are destined for Antena3’s corporate promotions department, which has gained a considerable reputation for its innovative, high impact promos. Alongside the creativity of Antena3’s editors, this reputation has been won with the help of several Quantel Editbox systems which have been the ‘engine room’ of the Promotions Department for a number of years, and which will finally be retired when the new eQs are installed over the coming months.
Antena3 is currently undergoing a period of considerable growth, and the eQs will play a prominent role in Antena3’s impending move into Digital Terrestrial Television.
Antena3 is the first Free Media group to be listed on the Spanish Exchange Market. Its activities span commercial radio (Onda Cero) and cinema advertising (Movierecord) as well as the Antena3 TV operation.
